摘 要:Travel agencies are intermediary privately or publicly held organizations that extend travel and tourism-related services, acting as a front for tour operators and suppliers such as hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and tour package providers. In the process, the suppliers part with a portion of their earnings, which is considered commission for the agencies. They cater to the needs of a variety of customers, both corporate and individual travelers, for business and leisure. Most agencies provide integrated and customized online services in addition to offline services. The services provided by them can be broadly classified into seven types: tour packages, flight bookings, hotel booking services, cruise bookings, rail bookings, car rental services, and others.
