摘 要：Over the six months under review, the Asia-Pacific insurance industry continued to face slower economic growth, a low interest rate environment and regulatory issues. However,the continuing rise in the number of middle class and high net worth individuals, and liberalization of trade barriers were highly favorable for the Asian insurance market.Demand for health insurance continued to grow in 2013,due to the ageing population, rising consumer affluence and strain on public resources.
