摘 要：At the beginning of 2016, the government of China issued several policies to promote the coal mining capacity reduction in an effort to resolve the over-supply problem of coal. On Feb. 5, the State Council issued the “Opinion regarding the resolving over-capacity of coal mining industry so as to relieve predicament and achieve development” guidance, in which it is instructed that cal mining companies are to implement the “276 working days” policy. It is reported that in the second quarter, major coal production provinces gradually began to implement the “276 working days and no production on holidays” policy, which resulted in a fairly low coal supply for the domestic coal market.
