全球汽车双离合器传动系统市场报告(2017-2021年)
Global Automotive Dual Clutch Transmission System Market 2017-2021
A DCT system works similar to a conventional manual transmission but without the need for a clutch pedal. The configuration of the system makes it look like as if two separate manual gearboxes are attached to each other. It can be used both in automatic and manual transmission modes using either paddle shifters or manual driver selector on the gear lever. This type of system combines the benefits of both manual and automatic transmission. The global automotive industry has evolved drastically over the years with technical developments taking place in the field of powertrain, vehicle safety, comfort and convenience areas. Within the powertrain systems, transmission is one area that has witnessed gradual developments. Though the first design of a DCT dates back to World War II, the first and actual development started around the 1980s. DCT was first developed and tested in a few models of Ford and Peugeot. Most of the initial DCT control systems were based on analog or digital circuitry featuring single dry clutch or multi-plate wet clutch. Later, German sports car manufacturer Porsche developed its in-house version of DCT, which it named Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) in German,
meaning dual-clutch gearbox in English. Since 2000, most of the leading automakers in the world have started using DCT in their vehicles with Volkswagen being the most prominent one.
