When compared with knits and wovens, non-woven fabrics are low-performance fabrics, but are widely used because of their specific properties to enable acoustic effects, absorbency, liquid resistance and resilience, softness, mechanical strength, flame resistance, cushioning, filtering, and hygiene and sterility. The major end-users of non-woven fabrics include the Medical sector, the Consumer Goods industry, the Construction sector, the Automotive sector, and Others.
