摘 要：Cardiac markers are used for risk stratification and diagnosis of patients with chest pain and suspected acute coronary syndrome. Cardiac marker imaging is more effective and less expensive compared to computed tomography and myocardial perfusion imaging. It is a simple technique that provides information to the physician who can then take a decision about opting for an invasive or complicated procedure for treatment. Cardiac marker testing is used in many medical settings, especially in arteriosclerosis, conjunctive heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest, and myocardial infraction.
