摘 要:

Spirulina consists of a diverse group of plant containing chloroplast eukaryotes, which can grow in the sea and also in fresh water. Various factors are considered while cultivating spirulina, as different species of spirulina constitute of different composition of essential molecules and this species of spirulina are selected depending upon end application requirement. Spirulina is a source of various essential ingredients, such as omega3 fatty acid, fibers, flavonoid, polyunsaturated fatty acids, minerals, and others. The subspecies of spirulina such as Arthrospira platensis and Arthrospira maxima are used as an ingredient or formulated product. Whereas, beta carotene, astaxanthin, and others are present in the form of molecules in parent species. The scope of the study is intended to discuss the upcoming and present market trends of spirulina products. In addition, this report details current market trends, drivers, restraints, and opportunities and determines the future growth potential of the global spirulina products market.
