摘 要：This work is a step towards the practical demonstration of a wireless system that exploits cooperation between terminals. Chapter 2 introduces basics of cooperation between terminals;present fast and effcient square-root algorithm for MMSE-SIC MIMO detection is presented in Chapter 3; Hardware design of the implemented MMSE-SIC detector is explained in Chapter 4. We argued that MMSE-SIC is the MIMO detector architecture that represents a very good t for the given design requirements. The algorithm for MMSE-SIC lter calculation that promises an effcient hardware implementation has been presented.
