摘 要：Business process outsourcing (BPO) is a form of outsourcing that involves subcontracting the business processes of an organization to a third-party vendor that has enough expertise in the required fields to carry out the process. It can be considered to be an effective strategy of delegating one or more business activities to external companies (vendors) that administer and manage the selected activity based on defined and measurable performance criteria. BPO helps client firms increase their operational efficiency; concentrate on their core competencies; reduce time-to-market; obtain access to fresh talent, experience, and the latest technologies; and also develop an economical cost structure over a period of time. The BPO market in China has continued to grow despite the recent economic downturn. A majority of the growth of the market comes from the Large Corporations, Small and Mediumsized Businesses (SMBs), and Government sectors. The BPO market in China was valued at US$2,424.4 million in 2011. It is expected to grow at a CAGR of 21.4 during the period 2011–2015.
