Retailers offering gift items are adopting multichannel and omni-channel strategies. They are also focusing on providing product customization and personalization services to their consumers. Brick-and-mortar retailers are launching online portals and selling their gift items through third-party e-retailers.  Hallmark, Disney, Card Factory, and American Greetings have their own web portals to sell products online in their base market as well as in some major markets. Hallmark sells its greeting cards through Alibaba.com in China. Card Factory sells personalized gift items through its website GettingPersonal.co.uk.
