Inflight food is the food served to passengers on board by commercial airliners. They are prepared by specialist airline catering firm, and are normally served during the cruise to the passengers. Confectionery category has a comprehensive appeal in the travel sector. With the ban on LAGs (liquids, aerosols, and gels) and with an accumulative number of passengers using low-cost carriers, the growth of confectionary category in these carriers has significantly increased, to become one of the most critical categories in the industry.  The beverage segment comprises coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, cold-drink, and alcohol.
