A MES helps improve the end-users' operational performance by automating, executing, and managing processes as well as performance across the value chain. In essence, an MES acts as a communication system between the various parts of a plant and also provides an enterprise-wide record system. It provides the right information, at the right time, to the right people to take corrective and preventive actions about all aspects of manufacturing activities such as inventory, work-in-progress, production capacity analysis and standard lead times.The MES market in China is one of the fastest growing markets in the Global MES market. The majority of the growth is derived from the Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Electronics and Semiconductor, and Food and Beverages industries in China.
