全球汽车天窗市场报告(2017-2021年)
Global Automotive Sunroof Market 2017-2021
Automotive sunroofs may be fixed, vent, or sliding roofs that allow light and fresh air to enter the vehicle and also protects against the sun and wind. They can be operated manually or can be driven by motors. They are available in different sizes, shapes, and styles. The first company to come up with sunroof as a standard fitment was Nash Motors Company in 1937. In the subsequent decades, sunroofs became a premium feature among the ultra-luxury vehicles. During the 1990s, sunroofs gradually made way into premium and mid-segment cars as the large-scale investments by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and component manufacturers made it relatively affordable. Currently, many companies are coming up with sunroofs as a standard fitment, which can be operated manually or electronically. While manual sunroofs use levers for the sliding motion, electronically operated sunroofs use motor-driven cables. Most sunroofs that are currently available are electronically driven. Sunroof systems can be factory installed or can be installed aftermarket.
