Liner hanger system (LHS) is a part of this complex process, and has, in a way, revolutionized the well completion process over time. Drilling rig operators have continuously looked for ways, in order to increase drilling efficiency, and thereby reduce the cost of hydrocarbons recovery. As a part of this search, the open-hole casing technique was developed, to prevent drilled holes from collapsing.
