Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) router is a hardware device that facilitates the transfer of data packets between computer networks and provides internet connection to Wi-Fi-enabled devices, such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, personal computers (PCs), and smart appliances and devices, through a wireless access point. Wi-Fi router requires an internet service provider cable connection or telecom network chip to provide an internet connection.
