Adventure tourism involves a type of tourism allowing tourists to perform adventure activities including scuba diving and mountain climbing. An adventure tourism trip may include at least three elements, including physical activity, natural environment, and cultural immersion. Moreover, it should be done outside the usual environment of a person, in a domestic or international destination, for more than 24 hours but less than a year.
