A detachable tablet is a portable electronic device that includes numerous features such as a touchscreen, a detachable keyboard, a system on chip (SoC), a random-access memory (RAM), and a storage memory. Detachable tablets can be used as a laptop as well as a tablet, wherein the keyboard is not hardwired to the display monitor, unlike convertible notebook keyboards.
