NPCs, or non-player characters, are typically the source of these AI-powered interactive experiences. They act intelligently or imaginatively, much like human game players might. AI is the mechanism that determines how an NPC acts in the virtual environment. Apart from NPC, AI in games provides a better user experience and other features such as high-quality graphics and animations.
