Enterprise external original equipment manufacturer (OEM) storage systems are known as branded storage systems that are external to servers and sold directly or indirectly to business users. These systems are generally redundant array of independent disks (RAID) systems, which can be connected to application servers directly or networks such as storage area network (SAN) or network-attached storage (NAS) configuration.
