In addition, sanitizing could be performed by either cleaning, disinfecting, or both. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defined, sanitizing refers to lowering the number of germs on a surface to a safe level. The safe level depends on public health standards or requirements at the workplace, such as healthcare facilities. Some common ways of disinfecting & sanitization include mopping a floor using a mop with disinfectants and water, use of disinfectant wipes, use of hand sanitizers, among others.
