Broadcasting is the distribution of video or audio content to a targeted audience via any electronic mass communication medium such as cable TV. Cable TV is a system that delivers television programs to users with the help of radio frequency signals transmitted through coaxial cables or light pulses through fiber optic cables. This contrasts with broadcast TV, in which TV signals are transmitted over the air by radio waves and received by a TV antenna attached to the TV or satellite TV.
