7月，纺织行业运行平稳，行业生产、出口、内销均保持增长，具体来看，内销延续弱复苏，出口继续保持增长，这已是出口连续第5个月实现平稳增长。未来几个月，国内外宏观经济基本面总体平稳，内需市场随定向降准等政策预调微调效果显现有望加强增长动力，但居民消费意愿不高，需求疲弱仍将持续，相对较低的增速将成为常态。

6月，纺织行业运行态势稳中趋好，行业生产、出口、内销均保持增长，具体来看，内销延续弱复苏，出口继续保持增长，这已是出口连续第4个月实现平稳增长。3季度，宏观经济运行有望企稳，纺织行业面临的市场环境基本稳定，同时，随着棉花调控改革政策的实施以及纺织生产需求进入旺季，预计纺织行业运行态势将稳中趋好，发展质量将稳步提升。

2014 年第一季度受“暖冬寒春”影响，纺织服装行业内需比较疲软，企业零售终端表现较弱。全国50 家重点大型零售企业一季度服装零售额下降1%，同比放缓8.3 个百分点；服装零售量同比下降2.9%，同比下滑12.5 个百分点。3 月份服装零售额同比增长3.5%，增速较1-2月份提高6 个百分点，服装业有缓慢抬升趋势。
