Single-use bio-processing technology is a rapidly evolving technology that focuses on developing disposable bioprocess equipment and accessories to manufacture the desired products. The goal of these systems is to reduce the cost associated with the usage of complex steps such as sterilization, cleaning, and maintenance of the steel-based bioreactor systems and accessories. The current single-use bio-processing systems include disposable bioreactors, mixers, containers, tubing, connectors, sampling systems, purification devices and columns, and probes/sensors. The commercial GMP comprises hybrid systems that represent storage containers, manifolds, tubing, and other disposables.

Drilling waste management focuses on both environmental protection and cost -effectiveness by recycling the usable waste from drilling. The first step of drilling waste management is to separate solid waste from drilling fluids. Once the solid waste is removed from drilling fluids then a variety of technologies and practices can be used to manage the waste generated from drilling.
