全球非常规天然气市场报告(2014-2018年)
Unconventional gas is a type of natural gas resource that is trapped in coal beds, shale blocks, and tight sands. These gas resources are different from conventional sources in terms of reservoirs, geographical areas, and accumulation of natural gas. For the extraction of unconventional gas, different techniques are applied depending on the field and type of gas extracted. One common method is hydraulic fracturing, where a hole is drilled into the rock and large amounts of water are injected at high pressure along with sand and other chemicals to create cracks in the rock. The cracks, when opened, will free the trapped gas, allowing it to flow to the wellhead. There are three types of unconventional gases: tight gas, shale gas, and CBM, as shown in the exhibit below.
全球能源安全市场报告(2014-2018年)
Energy security refers to those solutions used for the protection of power plants and energy generation sources from various attacks. These attacks can be physical attacks or network attacks, which will hamper smooth functioning of several operations within the power grid. The various types of energy security technologies include surveillance systems, perimeter security solutions, secured communications, intrusion detection solutions, transportation security solutions, detectors, and access control systems. As these energy security solutions facilitate detection and prevention of various energy threats, the demand for these technologies is increasing, which is in turn driving the growth of the Global Energy Security market.
